Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the iHopGo desktop application (the "App") and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by iHopGo ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing a subscription, linking a membership, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

iHopGo is a macOS desktop application that simulates the GPS location reported by an iPhone connected to your Mac via USB, using Apple's developer tooling. The App is provided as a downloadable application with access managed through your iHopGo account and verified membership.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a subscription. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Account Access

• When payments open, the production subscription will be offered on a monthly plan at USD $9.90 per month. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
• Paid memberships use Patreon checkout when payments open. Review Patreon’s terms, the total charge, and billing details before subscribing. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
• The production plan supports one product account and one device. Review the total including tax, renewal frequency, and next billing date on Patreon before payment.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your Patreon membership settings; contact support if you need help; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• During beta, request the App download from support before subscribing and confirm compatibility. When memberships open, sign in to the App with Discord, link the Patreon account used for payment, review and confirm its identity, then refresh membership. Access is assigned to that product account and device. Contact support for device changes; purchases do not automatically transfer to another account or device.
• Cancelling renewal preserves App access through the verified paid period. Refunds, chargebacks, or failed payments may remove the related paid access. Refunds do not automatically cancel future renewal; confirm cancellation separately on Patreon.
• We may change subscription prices for future billing cycles. Price changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for, and renewals at a changed price take effect only after reasonable advance notice.

4. License Grant

Subject to these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on the device linked to your account. You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or share your account or access credentials, or otherwise make the App available to third parties.

5. Acceptable Use

The App is intended for lawful software development, QA, and location-based testing on devices you own or are authorized to test. You agree that you will not use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• commit fraud, misrepresent your location to obtain money, services, or benefits you are not entitled to, or evade law-enforcement, court-ordered, or safety-related location requirements;
• violate the terms of service of third-party apps, games, or platforms (many apps prohibit location simulation — you are solely responsible for checking and complying with their terms, and for any consequences such as account suspension);
• harass, stalk, deceive, or harm any person;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where permitted by law;
• circumvent license activation, device limits, or other technical restrictions of the App.

We may suspend or terminate your license if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.

6. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for your own hardware, including your Mac and iPhone, and for meeting the system requirements published on this website.
• Enabling Developer Mode and simulating location on your device is your choice and at your own risk.
• The App intentionally keeps the simulated location active after a normal quit. To restore the device's real location, explicitly clear the simulation in the App. Disconnecting or unplugging the device may also leave the simulated location active until you reconnect and clear it.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties, including Patreon for memberships, Discord for sign-in and optional community access, Apple's developer tooling for device communication, and third-party map services. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, this website, and all related content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

9. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, modify features, or discontinue parts of the Service. The App requires an online sign-in when restarted and periodic online membership validation. Within a running session, verified access may remain available offline until the current access lease expires, for at most 24 hours and never beyond the verified paid period. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service or compatibility with every future macOS or iOS version.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT IT WILL WORK WITH EVERY DEVICE OR OS VERSION, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY APPS WILL ACCEPT SIMULATED LOCATIONS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY SUSPENSION OF THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNTS RESULTING FROM LOCATION SIMULATION. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW OR AFFECTS YOUR NON-WAIVABLE STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription in your Patreon membership settings; contact support if you need help. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 8, 10, 11, and 13) survive termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on this website or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
