Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be confident when subscribing to iHopGo. This policy explains how billing cycles, cancellation, and refunds work. Memberships use Patreon when checkout opens. This is iHopGo’s refund offer; it does not describe an automatic Patreon refund guarantee. Approved refunds are processed through Patreon to the original payment method.
1. Subscription and Billing Cycle
- Monthly plan when payments open: USD $9.90, with monthly renewal; review the exact next billing date at Patreon checkout.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly billing cycle until you cancel. Patreon charges the payment method associated with your membership.
- Applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) may be added at checkout depending on your billing country.
2. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee:
- Go to your Patreon membership settings. When subscription management is available in the App, its Manage subscription action opens the same destination.
- Sign in to the Patreon account used for payment.
- Select your iHopGo membership, choose cancel, and complete the confirmation.
If you have any trouble accessing the portal, email us at support@ihopgo.com and we will help you resolve it. Confirm the cancellation in Patreon before your next billing date.
Effect of cancellation: your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then. No further charges are made after cancellation. When the paid period ends, the associated paid App access expires.
3. 14-Day Refund for New Subscriptions
If you are not satisfied with your first purchase of an iHopGo subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase date — for example, if the app does not work with your device setup and our support team cannot resolve the issue.
To request a refund, email support@ihopgo.com from your purchase email address, including your Patreon payment reference and iHopGo account identifier (if available) and a brief description of the issue. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Timing depends on Patreon and your bank and will be confirmed when the refund is issued. A refund removes the corresponding paid App access when verified. Refunding a payment does not automatically stop renewal; cancel your membership separately if you do not want another charge. Never send us a password, access token, or full payment card number.
4. Renewal Charges
Renewal payments are generally non-refundable, because you can cancel at any time before the renewal date. However, if you believe a renewal was charged in error — for example, you cancelled before the renewal date but were still charged — contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate and refund erroneous charges.
5. Exceptions
We may decline refund requests in cases of abuse, including repeated purchase-and-refund cycles, violations of our Terms of Service, or chargebacks filed instead of contacting support. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory refund or withdrawal rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
6. Invited Payment Tests
An invitation-only USD $1/month tier is used to test billing, with up to 100 memberships. It is a real recurring payment, not a free sandbox, and grants only test-environment access and the test Discord channel. It does not include production access. Cancel after testing to avoid renewal. The first-purchase refund window above also applies to an initial test subscription.
